The next few weeks are critical to electing Dana Kennedy in the run-off election for Phoenix City Council. Your help is needed to get out the vote.
Scores of volunteers are making phone calls every Tuesday and Thursday and knocking on doors every Saturday and Sunday to remind voters about this very important election.

Monday, President Barack Obama will be in Phoenix to speak at the VFW convention, and already special interests are planning to attack our president and our principles for health insurance reform while Obama is here.
You're invited to gather with us nearby the event Monday morning to show that Arizonans stand with President Obama and stand for healthcare reform. Join us at 7:00 AM at the northeast corner of Washington and Central in downtown Phoenix.

As you may be aware, the media is reporting that the Republican Governor Jan Brewer and Republican Legislature have negotiated a budget deal that will begin to move forward over the weekend.
Unfortunately, this budget proposal appears to be the worst budget in Arizona's history.
It makes deep funding cuts to the K-12 education system as well as to vital social service programs that serve children, the elderly and disabled while at the same time burdening the...
