Anastasia Walsh

Anastatia Walsh was raised in Phoenix, attended Carl Hayden High School, and received undergraduate degrees from Phoenix College and Arizona State University. In 2004 she earned a Masters of Arts degree in Public Communications from American University in Washington, D.C. Currently, she is owner and Principal of Cave Creek Communications, a public and political consulting firm in Cave Creek.

Working as a Communications Representative for Verizon Federal Systems Division in Washington, D. C., Ms. Walsh promoted company digital technology to military and civilian clients while servicing as Communications Workers of America (CWA) Union Steward from 1989 - 2004. At CWA Local 2336 she was Education Advocate promoting higher education and life-long learning programs.

After working in the Washington metro area for 25 years, Ms. Walsh returned to Phoenix with her family in 2004. In the 2008 election cycle, she worked as Lead Organizer with Linda Brown at the Arizona Advocacy Network distributing 10,000 AzAn Ballot Measure Booklets, promoting election integrity and social justice.

As a volunteer, Ms. Walsh served two terms on the Board of Directors of the Foothills Democrats working as Secretary, Treasurer, and Vice Chair in charge of public communications. In Legislative District 7, she is serving as Precinct Committeeman Rancho Paloma, State Committeewoman, and Secretary of the LD 7 Executive Board. She is lifetime member of the ASU Alumni Association and ASU University Club.
