LD 23 Members,
We are off to a good start with our new district. All of the officers from LD 8 have been re-elected and are here to make LD23 stronger than ever. There are so many things coming up and we hope you will get involved.
Beginning on Saturday, March 31 we will have our Congressional District caucus. The caucus will be listed under our old CD5. The caucus meeting will take place at the Pecos Community Center 17010 S. 48th St. Phoenix, AZ 85048. All registered Democrats in CD 5 are welcome..
We will continue to have our regular monthly meetings on the 1st Tuesday of the month, unless otherwise noted in this newsletter. Our next meeting will be on Tuesday, April 3 at the Via Linda Senior Center starting at 6:00 pm. We will have Paul Penzone speaking, he is running for Sheriff in Maricopa County against Joe Arpaio, please come out and support Penzone.
This is going to be an important meeting because we will talking about what PC's and volunteers can do during the month of April and going forward to assure that Democrats are elected at all levels of government and that all Democrats are on the list for an early mail-in ballot (PEVL). This is all "hands on deck", we need everyone working hard to win in 2012, to elect good candidates from our local county offices up to and including re-electing President Obama. Stand with us in solidarity to take back our state and our country.
In solidarity,
Carol Comito, Chair LD23
