Doug Arnold

Doug has lived in Arizona since 1958 when his family moved here from Iowa. He and his wife have lived in Ahwatukee since 1994. They have a daughter and a grandson who live in San Jose, CA. Doug retired from his day job at the Safeway Distribution (Tempe) in 2005 with a Teamsters pension after 32 years of service. He is now pursuing his passion as a part time musician

Doug has been politically active since 2003, working to elect Democrats locally and nationally thanks to GWB. In the spring of 2007 he showed up to an LD20 meeting and volunteered for the treasurer position when the prior treasurer could not fulfill his commitment. Doug was reelected for the 2009-2010 term. He is also a Precinct Committee Person for the Ahwatukee Precinct.
