We still need help in registering voters in Ft. Hills for an hour or two on Saturday.  Please see below.

Congratulations to 14 candidates who survived our "Political Speed Dating" event on Thursday.  The response was quite positive.  And thanks to over 70 community members who came to meet the candidates and have a chance to have many  personal conversations.   We had fantastic media coverage for this event:  The AZ Republic placed it in the Valley and State section on Thursday, KJZZ ran a short piece on Thursday morning and then came to record the entire event and interviewed guests and candidates.  The story ran Friday morning and can be heard here:  http://kjzz.org/news/arizona/archives/201002/LD8_Speed_Date

Every hour that you give can mean the difference in an election.  Please make a commitment today to volunteer 2 hours a month.

Do you want to become a PC? (Precinct Committee Person)  Please let me know by replying to this email.  Review PC duties here:  http://www.maricopadems.com/official-mcdp-bylaws

Listed at the bottom of the page are candidates who have filed to either run for office or are exploring to run.  Please take some time to get to know who they are.  We have many highly qualified candidates running for local, statewide and federal offices.

LD 8 Vision

Our vision in LD8 is to reach out to our larger community of voters in Scottsdale, Fountain Hills, and Rio Verde through intelligent and constructive dialogue.  We look forward to the day when every constituent is able to clearly hear the positive message of the Democratic Party.
