Linda Sullivan has lived in Mesa since 1991, and lived in California and Pennsylvania before coming to Arizona.  She graduated from Sun Valley High School in Aston, PA and earned a B.A. in Philosophy from California State Polytechnic University in Pomona, CA.  It was her love for philosophy that crossed over into a love of politics.

An invitation to join the volunteers for the Kerry Campaign was Linda's first step into political activism.  She became a PC and the Treasurer for LD18, and she also worked on Tammie Pursley's 2006 campaign as Treasurer.  Linda is a graduate of Mesa Leadership Training & Development program and has been serving on the MLTD Board of Directors for 3 years and is serving on Mesa's Board of Adjustments.

Linda loves her work at the Arizona Power Authority which is the state agency that markets Arizona's share of Hoover Dam electricity.  She is married to Jeff Sullivan and has 2 adult children: Bret who lives in Colorado, and Melanie who lives in Mesa with her husband and 3 children.  Linda's grandchildren and pets are her greatest joys.
