I just finished canvassing in Fountain Hills with an awesome group of volunteers, Councilwoman Ginny Dickey, and Congressman Harry Mitchell.  We had a great time as we went door-to-door and signed up Democrats to vote by mail.

One outstanding volunteer, Michelle, who helped organize today’s canvass said, “It’s exciting to see this much energy in this town!”

Well Michelle, I am excited too.

Arizona Budget Crisis Shows New Leadership Is Needed

The new legislative session began this week with Governor Brewer’s bitterly partisan attack on President Obama, former Governor Napolitano, Attorney General Goddard, and Democrats in the legislature. Governor Brewer played the blame game and hoped Arizonans would not notice that she offered no solutions or ideas for Arizona’s budget crisis.

Joseph "Pep" Guzman has served as the Justice of the Peace for the Agua Fria precinct since May 1991, when the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors appointed him to complete the term of a judge that resigned his position.
