Two Reasons to Support the Maricopa County Democratic Party: Andrew Thomas and Joe Arpaio

As Maricopa County weathers the worst financial downturn in recent history, Sheriff Joe Arpaio and County Attorney Andrew Thomas are hemorrhaging taxpayer dollars to conduct silly vendettas and score cheap political points.

Prison abuse lawsuits have cost the county over $40 million.  MCSO and County Attorney’s Office officials have been caught wasting thousands of dollars on unnecessary junkets and equipment. 

Arpaio uses his deputies to arrest newspaper owners and writers who criticize him and harass dishwashers and corn vendors while 40,000 felony warrants go un-served.  Rather than work together with the County Board of Supervisors to address the important issues of our community, Arpaio and Thomas choose instead to target County Supervisors Don Stapley and Mary Rose Wilcox with bogus arrests and investigations. 

Haven’t we had enough of the incompetence, waste, and abuse?   It will never stop unless WE take a stand by supporting Maricopa County Democrats.  Together, we can turn Maricopa Blue and back to working for you!
