U.S. Rep Harry Mitchell today addressed the 110th Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) National Convention in Phoenix, Arizona. Mitchell serves on the House Committee on Veterans' Affairs and is Chairman of the Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee.

Arizonans were proud to welcome President Barack Obama today, as he made his third appearance in Arizona since his inauguration earlier this year. As Obama addressed the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) inside the Phoenix Convention Center, several hundred supporters gathered to show their support for Obama with signs, flags, and cheers.

So many supporters and activists showed up to the open house event that many attendees had to circle the parking lot, waiting for others to leave, to get a parking spot.
Party leaders, candidates, and grassroots activists spoke, making exciting announcements about upcoming programs, projects, and events all over Maricopa County.
The new office is twice as large as...
