How You Can Help
The Democratic Party is working hard to make the world a better place. We can always use more hands to help make change. Whatever your skill set, we can use your expertise. These are just a few of the roles that our volunteers fill:
- Volunteer neighborhood leaders
- Registering new voters
- Signing up voters for the Permanent Early Voting List
- Educating voters
- Calling other volunteers or voters
- Visiting with other voters door-to-door
- Helping with office tasks
- Raising money
- Writing letters to editors
- Coordinating events
- Entering data
- Monitoring polls on Election Day
- Getting voters to polls on Election Day

The Maricopa County Democratic Party (MCDP) focuses on local grassroots action with an emphasis on the neighborhood-level community organizing that drove Barack Obama into the presidency. We work closely with other Democratic Party-affiliated groups and even share our office space with Organizing for America (Obama's former campaign arm).
